I got it thinking it could help me to see if I had certain things. If you like gross pictures or are work in the medical field you want this, otherwise no.

Easy to browse and pinpoint diagnosis. A bit costly, but overall good app for medical professionals.
I really like the visualdx app, it is useful in the clinic and ER.
This app is for medical professionals, not patients in search of a diagnosis. That being said I am a dermatologist who has used this on many occassions to confirm the images in my head. Most useful for atypical morphologies or rare condtions you see once in a year or even once in a career. I am planning on contributing personal kodachromes from my practice to the image database to keep making this an even stronger program!
Great reference resource
The pictures are great & the diagnoses information is concise
Price for students is extremely high at $150/year for full app functionality plus requires constant Internet access! Did enjoy the free subscription while its lasting but as much as I want I continue using he application, its just impossible me to keep it and the company is not responding to emails regarding any student pricing. I have rotations coming up and thats almost two years which I would love to have this application for but as we stand now its with a price tag of $300 and once it expires your back to a empty app with nothing usable. The company gets plenty of attention from hospitals around the country maybe thats why they have no intentions of providing a lower price point for students or higher subscription time frame. Suggestions: - make price affordable, If you dont want to lower it then increase the subscription time frame from 1 year to 5 years for ~$200-$250 - Make content downloadable once purchase made from the in-app purchase so we can use it at anytime, anywhere plus much faster than relying on internet/data plan and push monthly updates For now those of you that want something that works but offers just about same content your better off with MEDSCAPE, as content is downloadable and is free. For now Ill continue to live with it and hope they come up with more affordable pricing.
What the heck is that rash? With this app, you can plug in what you are seeing on your patient and get a full differential. And impress all your colleagues. And get up to date treatment for the patient. The only bad part is that it is pricey, but if you are dealing with skin conditions on a day to day basis like i do, it is invaluable.
I am a medical assisting student and I love this app it is just an awesome app to have with many diseases
Way too expensive for the content.
Oh and you have to sign up...
App is very useful when I can connect to the internet. I am getting access through my institution and enjoy using it. Unfortunately we do not have wi-fi or reliable cellular reception. -I suggest making, at the very least, the content downloadable and perhaps a key image or two.
Incredibly useful clinical app for derm in primary care. I use it almost every day in clinic to get instant info on dx & tx of skin conditions
Great App!! Great info for primary care, internists, mid levels and students! Also very useful for dermatology specialists! Strongly recommend if you have to deal with dermatological conditions on a regular basis, or if derm just interests you.
Free trial for 15 days only.
Thank You to everyone who has taken the time to leave a product review. Your feedback allows us to gain insight on your wants and needs, which we use to continuously improve VisualDx. What additional features are you interested in seeing incorporated into the app in the future? Sincerely, The VisualDx Team
My background is primary care but I now work in dermatology. VisualDx is invaluable as a quick reference with just the information I need most of the time. Im also now using the patient handouts which are well-written and an extra source of helpful information for my patients. Wonderful resource!
Whether you want help with diagnosing diseases or help with learning new diagnosis, this is the app to get. The best thing about this app is the large picture of diseases database. Their pictures show different representation of stages and locations of the diseases. If you want to get good at visually diagnosing diseases, download this.
Could you please send me detailed instructions so me and my class of 106 doctors to be can use your app. What exactly do mean by " launch at institution " Thank you. Dr. Audette , Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Tempe, AZ
This is an amazing reference tool... • Incredible images • Fast and easy to use • Great for diagnostic accuracy
